Double tagging
Started By
Hello!
I recently got an upgrade, as well as a tag and I was seeing that once a dog is tagged it can neither be tagged or untagged. I was thinking more than one user tagged a dog, so you can keep tabs on your own dog rather than getting an already tagged dog. I faced this is my kennel with many of my dogs and it would be better if you got to tag an already tagged dog, and it shows more than one tag when a user views the page!

It is also for those who want to keep track of their dogs through tags like that. It would also be helpful for new owners to see who owned the dogs back then and then tagged them.

I don't think it should be in the tag form though. The tag is just for knowing where the dog originally came from.

That's where I was going at, it shows the ORIGINAL but the owner can still tag the dog, except they would click a list on the dog's page to show all the owners that have tagged the dog but the first tagger would show on the dog's page rather than the one's after.

No support.<br /> <br /> But, if you take that idea and teak it so it's like a handler history, I would support.

No support. What Clay said.

It should post the original tagger but also there should be sort of like a 'view all tags' This way it shows the Original owner/tagger as well as those who owned it.

No support. Clay said it all. I tag my dogs so that people know that dog is from my lines. I don't tag the dog individually just to have another person re-tag them as their own line.

No support. I tag all of my pups because it's like branding a horse. I want people to be able to see "CLAY" branded on a dog and know that it's from my lines. I see no point whatsoever in having someone else brand my already-branded horse. [yes.. using the horse as an example. I know we're talking about dogs]
